Amphi Liberation Mutual Aid
Community care to the Amphi Neighborhood and surrounding area. Occupying space in so-called tucson; 📍 Stolen Tohono O'odham & Pascua Yaqui land.Since September of 2024, ALMA immediately transitioned to weekly distributions of essential items and services, due to the growing high need in the area.
We now service between 80 - 90 unhoused and housed people a week with essentials.

Who We Are
Amphi Liberation Mutual Aid (ALMA) is a Community-based, community-funded mutual aid group that’s designated itself in the Amphitheater Neighborhood, and also serving the greater surrounding area.
The goal of the group is to provide community care to the local demographic struggling with housing insecurity, which often intersects with homelessness, serious mental illness, trauma, and/or substance use, by providing essential items and services.
What we do
We provide community support through:
• Free meals (usually home cooked) and supply distribution
• Harm reduction & hygiene kits
• First aid/wound care
• Resource sharing
• Free clothes
• Free Haircuts

• Distributions: Help set up and share supplies with neighbors
• Loading/Unloading: Help unload and setup or load up after distro & take to storage
• Cooking meals – coordinate with organizers & help prepare meals
